You mean the weight doesn’t just fall off?!

Thirteen reasons I am not losing my pregnancy weight:

  1. peanut m&ms
  2. sour gummy worms
  3. Archer Farms cashew trail mix with m&ms
  4. miniature milky way bars (I try to fool myself with the size… but when you eat the entire bag?? Yeah, they still have calories…)
  5. cream cheese pastries
  6. m&m blizzards (do you see a pattern here?)
  7. Sonic Route 44 cherry limeades (forget about the diet ones)
  8. Jet-Puffed Chocolate Marshmallows (fortunately, they are just around for a limited time)
  9. plain m&ms
  10. sour patch kids (I obviously eat these too quickly, because I’ve been eating them for years and never knew they looked like they do, until I went to the web site)
  11. chocolate chips (purchased to make cookies… never made it into cookies…)
  12. Malt-O-Meal Chocolate Marshmallow Matey’s
  13. MilkMaid Caramels (also purchased to make caramel apples…)

Good grief! Do I eat like a child, or what?!

Yeah, I think its time to make a few adjustments to my diet…

    What’s wrong with that diet?
    :D There’s nothing there a nice juicy burger won’t fix… add lettuce and tomato and you’ve got a well-rounded meal.

    I won’t even tell you about the new shake they have at Sonic that is chocolate and made with whoppers. That is tempting me so badly, but like you, I’m trying to seriously work on the pregnancy weight as well! :)

    That kind of stuff isn’t even allowed in my house anymore (except the chocolate chips, because you gotta have those on hand), ’cause if it comes in my house, it goes in my stomach. And then directly to my bottom. Sigh. But you’re nursing… (right?) so it’s all good.

    Alas, I’ve reached the age where all I can do is read the list and yearn a bit….my system no longer processes chocolate or sour candies.

    Thanks for commenting on my blog. I love your diet, it is the same one I’m on, except this time of year, candy corn is my craving. And this year they have the milk maid caramel ones that are WONDERFUL!

  15. he he he…i remember when i was breastfeeding (esp in the beginning) i would get intense sugar cravings. i expected all my pregnancy weight to drop off. afterall “they” said thats what would happen if i breastfeed. :P

    i lost 20 pounds the first weeks and then…..te weight just kinda stopped. brutal!! i still have a bout 10 pounds to go…my baby is nearly 2.

    i’m just not willing to give up the chocolate in order to fit all my former-life wardrobe. :) not worth it in my opinion. ;)
