What The?! Week 13

Want a chance to win a new blog header? Guess what the following closeup is a picture of. (If you’d like to see some of my work before you decide to answer that question, view this page for some samples)

To enter to win:
Make your guess in the comments.
The first person with the correct answer will have their name put into a drawing for the header.
There will be one prize winner per month.
That winner will be randomly chosen from the prior weeks’ winners. (I will draw a name once a month from that months winners.)

*For more info on the contest, please see this page.

**Let me know if you are interested in giving something away in the future. You would be responsible for getting it to the winner.

Congrats to Megan at Fried Okra, who correctly guessed a jar of pepper. Megan is a super duper funny gal and author of one of my favorite blogs. LOVE her! And she is expecting a sweet little babe in August (follow her belly’s growth hereI’m sure she’ll love me for that ;0)

***The winner of the FEBRUARY contest is Cahleen at In His Footsteps. Cahleen is a missionary in Taiwan and correctly guessed Week 9’s image.**** Email me, Cahleen, at lookingtowardsheaven at gmail dot com.

Remember: this month, I’m giving away some fab jewelry.

A direct downward look at the pistol of a plant – vinca maybe?

  2. It’s a shot upward of a tropical plant.

  3. Yard Sale Princess says:

This is a downward shot into a center of a houseplant.

  4. It looks like a worms eye view of a plant–maybe a poinsetta.
    Gina

  5. Looks like a close up view of a house plant. I don’t know my plants that well so I can’t tell you what kind I think it is.

  6. The Other Huse says:

seriously, the ONE time I know what it is and I’m the sixth commenter.

    my luck sucks.

  7. The Other Huse says:

I’m going to guess anyway…it looks like you’re looking up from the stem of some silk leaves…..

  8. I think it’s a four-leaf clover!

  9. Beth/Mom2TwoVikings says:

Since it is March, I’m gonna say four-leaf clover

  10. I had to click over when I read this. There is a talk show host called Rove McManus here in Australia. His show is called … ROVE. And he does a segment called What The !? It’s a catchy phrase and though my kids have never seen Rove ( they are 6 and 4 ) and neither my husband nor I use that phrase … the kids say it alllllll the time. We think it is hilarious ! I’m going to try to get it on video … how to get them to say it like they say it normally is the trick !?
