Ruth Graham – What a lady

I just read that Billy Graham’s wife, Ruth, passed away quietly, in their mountain home, this afternoon.

What a beautiful Godly life she lead.I love what Billy said about her inĀ this article. I especially love this:

“I am so grateful to the Lord that He gave me Ruth, and especially for these last few years we’ve had in the mountains together. We’ve rekindled the romance of our youth, and my love for her continued to grow deeper every day. I will miss her terribly, and look forward even more to the day I can join her in Heaven.”

Oh, what sweetness!

I know this must be a difficult time for her family. But at the same time, I know that they are strengthened through Christ.

And to know that one day they will be reunited – oh, what a gift!

I’ve been reading about her passing and all the different articles. Every single one brings me to tears. She was just a great, great woman. Lord, that I could be even half of what she was.

  2. An incredible woman of God! It so moved me to read that Billy said he loved her more now than he did when they first met 60 some years ago.

  3. Oh, that’s so sad and beatuiful.

  4. What an inspiration they are. In a day of fallen religious icons, he has always remained a faithful husband, such a man of God. And then there is Ruth. What an amazing woman. Thanks for posting this. I hadn’t heard!

It’s sad, but at the same time you know they’ll be together again one day, and that she made it to the right place :)

Their love and tenderness for each other is so incredible and beautiful. What a gift from the Lord they had in each other. And what a gift the Lord gave to their family and to all of us to let us witness their love for the Lord and for each other.

First I have to apologize for not spelling your name correctly!

Then I have to say that was a beautiful tribute.

I am sure Ruth would have loved it:)

Its crazy, and I know we arent supposed to think like this, but Billy and Ruth are like royalty next to heaven. They have earned it!

    Anyways, have a good one.
