I am a big fan of Ted Dekker’s. I’ve read all of his books and I am amazed at how he takes themes of the bible and biblical truths and turns them into can’t-put-down thrillers.

I had no idea, however, that this was already out in theatres!! I must get myself to the theatre soon!

Let me know if you’ve seen it and/or read the book and what you thought. (I’ve read the book and loved it!)

**Read this awesome essay, by Ted, on the Church**

  1. The Flip Flop Mamma! says

I’ve never read any of his books, they always look scary!! Look at that movie title! Scary! I prefer Karen Kingsbury and her love stories :)

  2. Hi Karla,
My 17 year old son likes Ted Dekker…he has about 1/2 dozen of his books and says that Ted is better than most Christian authors.
I personally haven’t read them because I don’t do ‘scary’.

Let us know if you see the movie!

  3. I just finished my first Ted Dekker book and I did NOT like it. It was The Martyr’s Song. Have you read that one. It just wasn’t suspensful (ms?) enough for me. I guess I need to try another one. I LOVE scary movies so I might have to check this one out. Is it a book. Have you read the book of it?

  4. Really this is a movie? I really enjoyed this book. My daughter is now reading the Circle Trilogy series and loves it.

  5. Karla, I thought that I left a comment earlier on this, but guess I goofed. I just finished my first Dekker book, Blessed Child, and really enjoyed it. However, I, like Flip Flop Momma still prefer Karen Kingsbury and am presently reading her book, Ever After.
    Love you.
