Prepare for some twinges

I have several post sitting in my dashboard waiting to be finished up. But they’ll have to wait for a bit.

Can I just say for now, that my baby is growing up too fast… He now has 4 (FOUR!!) teeth, is proficient at the army-crawl, and today scooted up out of his co-sleeper – across my bed -and crashed onto the floor.

It’s that bittersweet paradox … you want them to grow strong and healthy. But at this moment all I want is for somebody to please tell me how to keep him a baby for a bit longer.

  1. GEEEEEEZ!
I thought “Nah, there’s no way she’s gonna bug MY ovaries” and now I’m sitting her just wanting a baby so much that I could PASS OUT.

Ahh – he is growing fast – ADORABLE – I bet he felt so proud of his escape accomplishment across the bed, until that final decent! ;)

As I type this, the babe in my womb is going on his 4th hour of having a kicking marathon this morning. Maybe I shouldn’t have had captain crunch for breakfast!

I can’t believe it! How did that happen so fast? Sheez!

He’s adorable. I’m glad I’m covered in the “broody” department or I’d be in trouble!

  4. Awww so cute! You ALMOST make me want to have another one :) Almost though :)

PS- What a cute little shirt!

I am the mother of two grown sons, Jimmy age 35 and Jon age 30. Let me tell you they grow up way before you are ready to let them. Hang on to every moment. You will always be glad you did. Take pictues, make notes, and do not let anyone tell you not to. When you are a grand mother of 4 like I am, it is so fun to look at the precious grand children and re-live all over again the ‘firsts’ with your child as you watch the grand child. I am lucky enough to be a home day care provider. I got to have all 4 of my beautiful grand children in my care till they were old enough for school. Precious sweet time. You have a beautiful little one. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Roxie

  6. Too cute!!! I miss those days!

  7. He’s absolutely adorable, Karla! Sorry I have no ideas on how to keep them small. All I know is you feed them, they grow, a fact that I can attest to as I wonder how on earth my son all of a sudden is almost 6 ft.

  8. That cute little baby did not help my bad case of baby fever at all! He’s adorable!

If I could give you the answer to that, you probably wouldn’t be able to ask the question, for you would still be a baby. But then you were so cute at two and at four. And what a beautiful young lady you became. I would have missed all of that if I had kept you a babe!!!
    Love you so,
    Mom
