Only 20 pounds to go now

I suppose that was my jump start on losing some pregnancy weight. Not that I would ever choose that on my own.

And praise God it was just a 24 hour virus. The boys were so good; and considering what a maniac Seamus usually is, that is nothing short of a miracle. They didn’t even tear the house up! I had images of things everywhere, things poured on the carpet… But nada.

I swear though, kids can sense when you are getting ready to blow, and it just draws them in. They ignored me all morning – content to watch tv while I stayed in bed, preparing for the inevitable. But as soon as I headed to my throne, I suddenly had an audience and the questions! and the hovering! Then they were content to ignore me again while I recovered.

Today I’m in that weak shaky recovery stage. But I am back in the land of the living.
