Bible Bus Limericks

When we moved back to Maryland (briefly) I joined a Read-through-the-Bible type class. It was a wonderful group led by “The Bus Driver”. Every week he had several limericks pertaining to the scriptures that we read through. Fortunately, he was kind enough to start a web site that features these limericks. Read them and enjoy.

Angel Food Ministries

I was introduced to this ministry through our church. A non-profit, non-denominational ministry, the goal and purpose is to provide “grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States.”For just $30.00, you can order a box of food valued at over $60.00. It’s perfect for single senior citizens or order several boxes for a larger family. They accept food stamps as well.Any church may apply to be a distribution church.Click here to see a sample menu.

Tree Hut Body Scrub

Yummy scents, like Coconut Lime, Almond and Honey… made from pure Shea Butter and granulated sugar. My skin felt amazing after one use. The price is really amazing too: under $6.00! Maybe this will save my wrinkly knees.

Kidtoon Films

My kids love going to the movie theater. But there are not always movies for them to see. Enter Kidtoons! They show G-rated movies at theaters around the country. They play one movie for a month, then play a new one. Strawberry Shortcake, a new Care Bears movie… perfect for a matinée with the kids.

Movie Mistakes

How fun is this? You know you’ve noticed them. There is a place to go and find each and every mistake in a movie and tv show. One of my favorites: “Star Wars: When the stormtroopers break into the control room, the stormtrooper on the right of the screen hits his head on the door frame. On the DVD release they’ve added a thump when he hits it.

The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks

Tongue-in-cheek is so much fun. There is always a misuse of quotation marks that is hysterical.
