Managing bathtime crazies

With 4 kids, bath time is c.r.a.z.y. But oh, how they love it. They find the craziest things to bring into the tub. I haven’t been able to control the mess until my mother-in-law gave me one of these:

See those pockets on there? Perfect for storing things – shampoos, liquid soaps, toys etc. And unlike the bath nets with suction cups, they hang nicely, therefore allowing things to dry without smelling/mildewing.

An added bonus is that because it is clear and we don’t have a curtain hanging with it, I can keep it closed while they bathe. This keeps splashes contained, and me dry.

*updated* Several people have asked if I made this or where it could be found – Bed Bath and Beyond sells the curtain. I also found a bunch on ebay.

WOW. WOW. Wow. wow. I love this idea Karla! One can never have enough space in the bathroom for kids’ toys.

  2. We have one of these and I LOVE it–except of course that my kids decided to put ALL their BArbies in there and it ripped one off. Sigh. It is still awesome and I still love it. AND my mil gave me ours! Aren’t mother-in-laws lovely!

Love the idea! I use way too many little suction-cupped organizers all over the tub!

Unfortunately we gave up a curtain for the boys. They always pull it down.D’oh!

Great storage idea! I don’t have a shower curtain on the kiddos’ bathtub right now, so I’m thinking of an alternative…maybe an over-the-door pocket organizer?

I’m always amazed by what becomes a bathtime “must have”. Rubber frog? An entire castle full of knights and dragons? Mommy’s cell phone…Noooo!

  8. i love this! Did you mention where to get it??? I want one…

  9. This is a fab idea!

What a wonderful shower curtain. I may have to get one. I’m not sure if my soon to be 11 yr old would like having a clear shower curtain, but I certainly could ask him. He’s the oldest of the three of my sons who use that bathroom. I’ll have to give this much thought. I wonder if you could hang it facing the other way so the pockets are on the inside? Maybe that would be too much temptation for the two youngest. Ta for now dahling!

  11. Pinkjeweledcat:

I have mine with the pockets hanging on the inside.

And if you want a curtain for privacy, put the curtain on a separate rod so that you can pull it back when the younger ones are bathing.
